Streetscapes

Resilient pathways and skills for a sustainable future.

SOCIAL IMPACT PROJECT

Khulisa Social Solutions (KSS) is a multi-award winning, Non-Profit Organisation (NPO). Its objective is to empower marginalised children, youth and the community at large to unlock their full potential and develop resilient pathways and skills that lead to a sustainable future.

Streetscapes is Khulisa Social Solutions’ flagship programme addressing chronic homelessness in a sustainable way through inclusion and empowerment. The programme empowers vulnerable children and marginalised communities to develop resilient pathways and skills for a sustainable future. Khulisa initially focused on rehabilitating young offenders but then expanded its activities to include holistic community development using peace-making and restorative approaches.

Today, Khulisa works in geographic ecosystems to effect sustainable, wide-scale change through a multi-stakeholder and inter-sectoral approach.

CoGo recently joined the Streetscapes project as an external service provider with the role of externally evaluating the effectiveness of the interventions at the Kuilsriver farm in terms of impact, sustainability, as well as upscaling and replicability.

This project includes various collaborators working together to empower communities.
